Annan Borders Shotokan’s Chief Instructor, Alistair Mitchell Sensei, recently competed at the World Police and Fire Games 2022 in Rotterdam and achieved yet another gold medal, becoming the Kumite Champion in the 50+ age category.
In what Alistair Sensei describes as the “final chapter” in his international competitive career which has spanned 43 years, he also paid tribute to those that have supported him: “This one was difficult and I don’t think I would have made it without the support of my family, friends and students who inspired me to succeed.”
